Biotin is a concentrated supplement for horses supporting the condition of hooves and hair. The formula combines biotin, organic zinc and methionine, i.e. components important for keratinization processes and proper reconstruction of hoove structures. The preparation will work particularly well in horses with a fragile, brittle or slow-growing horn, as well as in animals with matt hair, sensitive skin and a greater tendency to irritation.
Biotin helps maintain the proper structure of the hoof horn, methionine participates in the formation of keratin, and zinc yeasts provide zinc in a well-absorbed form. The formula is supplemented by lecithin and unsaturated fatty acids, which favor the elasticity of the horn and good condition of the skin and hair cover. The product may also be used in horses with limited access to pasture and animals requiring long-term support of the quality of hooves and fur.
The composition includes rice bran, soy protein without GMOs, zinc yeast, linseed and rape poppy, micronized maize, dried carrots, and a mixture of vegetable oils, among other things, roes, blackberries, apricot seeds and steppes. It provides 18% raw protein, 12% fat, 6,8% fiber and 5,1% methionine. It also contains 2 588 mg zinc, 2 200 000 mcg biotins, vitamins A, E, C and Group B and amino acids such as lysine, threonine, tryptophan, arginine and valine.
