Brandon XS is a specialized fibrous-protein feed for ulcerative, lean, or older primates with a sensitive digestive system. It has been developed to include cremations that have difficulty maintaining normal body weight, less use of nutrients or require recovery after disease, spikes, surgery or antibiotic therapy. The pressed pellets can be fed dry or after soaking, which will also work for seniors and horses with dental problems.
The high fibre content supports the correct digestion and stable functioning of the digestive tract, while valuable protein helps to rebuild muscles and improve overall condition without providing excessive energy. Brandon XS is especially recommended for horses with nervous, ulcerative and protein-sensitive oats, which need feed to gain weight without excessive agitation. The digestible energy is 9,6 MJ/kg and the content of starch and sugar digested in the small intestine remains below 20%.
The recipe includes, among others, alfalfa, oat and wheat bran, lactated barley flakes, linseed, rice bran, beet pulp beetroot, beer yeast, carrot, fennel, turmeric, and flax and sunflower oils pressed cold. The combination of fiber, vegetable fats, fermented ingredients and yeast supports the use of food dose, appetite and maintenance of normal intestinal microflora. The addition of vitamins, minerals and micronutrients helps supplement the diet with essential ingredients for muscle, skin, hair and hooves.
