Kieselgur Forte is a specialized supplement for horses supporting bone endurance and their reconstruction. The formula provides a high dose of bioavailable silicon, calcium hydroxyapatite, II collagen, exogenous amino acids, and minerals and vitamins essential for the proper condition of the movement system. The preparation will work particularly well in foals and young horses during the period of growth, starting training, sports animals and horses during recovery after injury.
Silicon derived from diatomaceous soil participates in bone mineralization processes and helps to maintain their proper strength and flexibility. Calcium hydroxyapatite is a natural component of bone tissue, while II collagen supports the proper condition of the joint cartilage. Lysine and methionine provide the amino acids needed for the synthesis of structural proteins, and zinc, manganese and copper participate in processes related to tissue formation and regeneration.
The composition includes diatom earth, linseed and hemp poppy, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, feed yeast, calcium hydroxyapatite, and a mixture of herbs including lancetovian grandmother, fenugreek, fennel dill, mayeran, thyme and oregano. The formula is supplemented by lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Pediococcus acidilactici, which promote the maintenance of normal intestinal microflora and the use of nutrients. The preparation also provides vitamin A, D3 , E and K, and 5000 mg collagen type II, 30 000 mg lysine, 8000 mg methionine, 4000 mg zinc, 2500 mg manganese and 800 mg copper per kilogram of product. The recommended daily dose for mares from 9 month of pregnancy and lactation is 10 g for each 100 kg body weight. Pubs and herds should be administered 8 g for each 100 kg weight, whereas horses during the period of growth and recovery 5 g for each 100 kg body weight per day. The preparation is administered once a day together with the feed. One scoop contains approximately 30 g of the product. In justified cases, the dose may be increased after consultation with a nutrition specialist. The supplement can be used for a long time.
