Mebio Kieselgur is a supplement for horses designed for comprehensive support of bones, joints, tendons, ligaments and condition of skin, hair and hooves. The formula combines the natural source of silicon in the form of diatom earth with MSM and vitamin C, thus favoring proper synthesis of collagen, bone mineralization and regeneration of structures responsible for mobility. The preparation will be suitable for sports horses, intensively used, older ones, during recovery and animals requiring additional care for joint and connective tissue.
Silicon participates in processes related to collagen formation and bone mineralization, while MSM is a source of organic sulphur used by the body within joints, tendons and ligaments. Vitamin C complements their action by supporting collagen synthesis and cell protection against oxidative stress. Boswelli serrata supplement helps maintain comfort and proper joint mobility.
The composition includes diatom earth, MSM, Boswellia serrata, vitamin C, rice bran, linseed and sunflower, mint, St. John's wort, coriander, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate, fodder yeast and lyophilised strains of Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Pediococcus acidilactici. lactic acid bacteria help maintain the balance of the intestinal microflora and the correct use of nutrients. This product contains 7% magnesium and 1% calcium.
MEBIO Kieselgur MSM+Vitamin C can be used for horses at any level of use, seniors, animals with poor hair and hoove quality, as well as horses requiring support after injuries or with reduced comfort of movement. It can be given for a long time as part of a daily diet.
The recommended daily serving is 5 g for each 100 kg horse weight. For a horse weighing 500 kg this corresponds to 25 g per day. The product should be thoroughly mixed with feed. In justified cases, the dose may be increased, preferably after consultation with a nutrition specialist. One scoop contains approximately 35 g of the preparation. In the case of foaled and lactating mares, the use should be consulted with a veterinarian or nutritionist.
