MEBIO has created an innovative product designed for horses that require support in terms of resistance, regeneration and proper functioning of the movement apparatus. The product contains a combination of organic selenium with vitamin E, vitamin C, lactic fermentation products and a complex of vitamins, thus supporting the horse's body during periods of increased demand.
MEBIO Selen is especially recommended for hard-working horses, sports, youth intensively growing, animals after increased physical effort, as well as those with identified shortages of selenium. It will also work in case of muscle weakness and muscle tissue disorders such as delayed regeneration, stiffness, chronic fatigue or a tendency to muscle dystrophy.
Selenium plays an important role in the proper functioning of the body. In combination with vitamin E protects cell membranes from oxidative stress and supports muscle function. The right level of these two components is crucial for the proper functioning of the movement apparatus, regeneration after work and maintaining the horse's good condition during competitions and intensive training. It also exhibits a strong antioxidant effect neutralising free radicals.
The combination of selenium with vitamin E and vitamin C provides a high dose of antioxidants. Vitamin C acts as a natural antioxidant, strengthens immunity, supports the development of acquired immunity and accelerates the regeneration of collagen. This allows the preparation to have a positive effect on soft tissue, proper skin maintenance, maintaining proper hair condition and its preparations, including hooves. In addition, selenium helps in detoxification and muscle regeneration after poisoning.
The preparation may be useful in horses with reduced immunity, allergic reactions, chronic inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases and increased body load. Selenium combined with a complex of vitamins E and C supports natural immunity, and its activity is important for proper spermatogenesis, therefore MEBIO Selen+ can also be used during the period of the stocking or when the quality of the stallion's semen is compromised.
Products of lactic fermentation, lactic acid, malt extract, mineral-lysine chelates, linseed oil, kamcha berry extract and apple vinegar support proper absorption of active ingredients and can favourably affect microbes. Regular monitoring of key elements by blood tests, as well as a genetic examination of the faeces showing whether the horse has problems with digestion and impaired microbiome, helps to protect the animal from the effects of shortages. SELON+ contains 2000 mg vitamin C per litre.
Supplement MEBIO Selen+ vitamin C and E is a formula supporting muscle function, immunity, regeneration and normal condition of skin, hair and hooves. The product contains crude fat, raw protein, raw ash and raw fibre, and the durability of the preparation is 12 months from the date of production placed on the packaging. Once opened, store it in a cool, dry and shaded place and shake before use.
Before the supplement is introduced, it is recommended to perform a blood or hair test, i.e. trichoscopy, to check the level of the element and select the appropriate dosage. For the horse ok. The 500 kg recommended serving is 50 ml daily administered with feed. It contains 70 mg selenium on 50 ml. It is free from doping according to the guidelines of FEI, therefore it can also be used in horses competing in the competition.
