Equipur Teufelskralle is a liquid supplement for horses containing black claw extract (Harpagophytum procumbens), a plant originating in South Africa and traditionally used as traffic support. The preparation was developed for horses requiring additional joint support, tendons and movement apparatus, especially in older animals, intensively working or exhibiting stiffness and reduced comfort of movement.
Black claw is a natural source of active plant compounds, including iridoides, flavonoids and triterpenes. These ingredients support proper metabolism within the joints and help maintain their efficiency and mobility. Regular use of the product may support the comfort of movement and proper functioning of the musculo-skeletal system.
Equipur Teufelskralle will work as a joint supplement for the horse, support when overloading the movement apparatus and as an element of feeding horses with greater demand for components supporting mobility. Liquid form facilitates the administration and careful mixing of the preparation with daily feed.
Recommended dosage: foals, young horses and ponies – 15 ml daily; horses weighing approximately 500 kg – 30 ml daily. The preparation should be mixed with feed. For optimal effect, it is recommended that 4–6 is used for weeks and, if necessary, the duration of administration may be extended to 3 months.
In accordance with the provisions of the German Equestrian Union (FN), the recommended withdrawal period before the competition is 96 hours after the last application of the product.
