The formula was developed for horses exposed to intense physical and mental stress, occupations, transport, changing environment or high temperatures. The product helps to help at the same time to hydrate and replenish the electrolytes lost along with after.
The composition includes L-tryptophan, vitamins B1 and B6 and minerals providing sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. L-tryptophan is involved in serotonin synthesis, therefore it promotes emotional balance and helps the horse cope better with stress. Vitamins from Group B support the proper functioning of the nervous system and energy changes, which is particularly important in horses working regularly and competing in competitions.
Calm & Focus will work well with sports, recreational and breeding horses who need support in maintaining concentration, a calmer response to stimuli and adequate hydration after exercise. The preparation can also be used during heat periods, during intense training and transport, when the loss of water and electrolytes increases.
The preparation may be added to the feed or dissolved in water and administered directly for drinking. For horses weighing above 500 kg it is recommended to 30 ml daily after light or medium exercise and 60 ml daily after intensive training, during high temperatures or increased sweating. Kuces should receive 15–30 ml daily, depending on the activity and environmental conditions. During use, regular access to fresh water should be provided to the horse.
