Knoblizem is a supplement for horses in the form of granules, based on garlic, herbs, vegetable oils and ingredients supporting natural immunity. The preparation can be used especially during the spring-summer season when horses are exposed to bites of flies, mosquitoes, mosses and other insects. Sulphur compounds present in garlic affect the smell of skin secretions, so they can help limit the interest of insects.
The formula contains 21% garlic and a mixture of herbs, including parsley, peppermint, coriander, nettle and rosemary. The recipe is supplemented by linseed and sunflower poppy, cold-pressed oils, cereal sprouts, fruit fibre, carrots, beer yeast and algae lime. This combination supports the immune system, the condition of skin and hair, and the proper functioning of the digestive tract and respiratory tract.
Garlic ST.HIPPOLYT Knoblizem granules can be a good choice for owners looking for garlic for an insect horse, a natural supplement for the summer season or support for horses susceptible to skin reactions after bites. The manufacturer also recommends it to seniors and animals requiring additional resistance support.
The recommended daily dose is approximately 15–25 g for each 100 kg horse's body weight. One scoop houses about 110 g of the preparation, and the exact portion should be matched to the animal’s body weight, condition and diet.
