The hug is a natural herb for horses, especially recommended to older animals, susceptible to lymphoedema and prone to allergic skin reactions. The plant promotes the proper flow of lymph, supports the body’s water management and can be helpful in the swelling of legs and joints.
Hugs for horses contain naturally occurring mineral salts, including potassium and silicon, as well as tannins, flavonoids, routine and iridoides. These ingredients support the proper functioning of the lymphatic system, the natural processes of cleansing the body and the condition of skin and hair. Herbs can be particularly useful in horses with swelling of the legs after a long stop in boxing.
Regular administration of EQUIHERBS-specific hugs can favour the removal of unnecessary metabolic products and support proper functioning of the kidneys and liver. Thanks to this, it will work well as an element of herbal supplementation of older horses, sports, staying temporarily in limited traffic or requiring additional care for water management and lymphatic system.
