Side reins triangulars are a modification of the normal side reins. They run between the horse's front legs through the tusk wheels to the languish belt or saddles. Unlike the usual side reins, they allow the horse to move forward and downward and sideways. The correct side reins triangular fastener allows the horse to position his head just in front of the vertical. Side reins triangulars are a popular training aid for driving and languishing. They can be attached to girth at different heights, matching their operation to the level of training of the horse. Side reins triangular Kavalkade brands are inexpensive, made of high-quality leather and can be personalized. Side reins triangulars are also often used in therapeutic rides and hiptherapy.
