Movicur is a comprehensive supplement for horses supporting joints, joint cartilage, bones, tendons and ligaments. The product was developed for sports horses, older, young starting training and animals requiring additional support after injuries or treatments within the movement apparatus. It can also be used in the limbs with osteoarthritis and problems with inadequate joint synovial secretion.
The Movicur formula supports proper bone mineralization, the condition of joint cartilage and tendon-priming structures. It contains flour from New Zealand clams, which is a source of natural nutrients used in joint supplementation, as well as cold-pressed oils, oil seeds, beer yeast, spirulina and an extensive mixture of herbs. The composition includes, among others, field horsetail, peppermint, coriander, rosemary, birch leaves, camomiles and thyme.
It also provides large amounts of vitamins E and C, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium, calcium and magnesium. These components support cell protection against oxidative stress, proper muscle function and maintenance of strong bones and connective tissue structures. The addition of methionine, lysine, biotin and B vitamins complements the formula intended for horses subject to regular training loads.
The ST.HIPPOLYT Movicur supplement can be administered preventively to young horses in the initial training phase, horses in intensive development period from 6. month to 3. year of age, seniors and animals in recovery period. The manufacturer also identifies it as nutritional support for chronic joint problems and after bone spatter removal procedures.
The recommended daily dose is 40 g for each 100 kg horse weight. The 20 g can be used for every 100 kg body weight. For a horse weighing 500 kg, this corresponds to 200 g or 100 g of the product per day, respectively. One scoop contains approximately 110 g supplement.
