Foran Atta-Sorb is an easy-to-use horse paste for use in diarrhoea and other transient gastrointestinal disorders. A formula based on natural attapulgite helps bind undesirable substances in the intestines and promotes the protection of the gastrointestinal mucosa.
The addition of electrolytes helps maintain normal water-electrolyte balance, which is of particular importance with increased fluid loss. Pectin supports proper bowel function and helps improve faecal consistency, while liquorice complements a formula aimed at the comfort of the digestive tract. It will work for both foals and adult horses with signs of diarrhoea or other digestive disorders.
Foran Atta-Sorb is administered orally in the amount of 5–10 ml on 100 kg body weight, twice daily by 1–3 the following days. For foals below 100 kg the recommended serving is 5–10 ml twice daily, for foals below 200 kg 10–20 ml twice daily, and for an adult horse weighing approximately 500 kg 25–50 ml twice daily. Consultation of a veterinarian is recommended before use and if symptoms persist.
