Merenos wool is obtained from a rune of a unique sheep breed - Merinos, some of the oldest and largest in the world. These sheep are native to Asia and now also inhabit the areas of New Zealand and Australia. Due to extreme, changing weather conditions in which the Merynosas live daily, they can comfortably withstand temperatures from -20 up to +40°C. It's all because of their unique wool!

Merinas wool has a number of unusual properties, thanks to which it is highly valued especially among physically active people and athletes. The Winderen Merino cap is in 100% made of merino wool and, no doubt, will allow you to feel all its advantages. Merinos wool collects air in its fibers, so that it can effectively regulate body temperature. Under cool conditions, fibers stop air, insulating the heat generated by the body. Then on warmer days they drain excess heat in the form of sweat, thereby preventing overheating.

Merino fibers have a porous structure, so they can absorb water from the surface of the skin and drain it outside, preventing sweating, which is particularly important on cool days.
