Digest Cleaner is a preparation for horses supporting the removal of sand and falling gastrointestinal content. It can be used especially in animals on sandy paddocks and pastures, taking fodder from the ground, as well as in the uppers with a tendency to colic, constipation and digestive problems. The manufacturer also recommends it after antibiotic therapy, deworming, past colics and surgical treatments, as well as preventively during the period of hair replacement.
The formula contains a woman’s fin and egg casing, which, after contact with water, form a mucosal consistency conducive to sand and contaminants moving through the intestines. The composition is supplemented by beer yeast, linseed, sunflower seeds, grape peels, grape seed extract, beet pulp beet, dried apples and cold pressed vegetable oils. It also contains nano biosorbents, which are designed to bind and help to remove the substance from the digestive tract.
Regular use of MEBIO Digest Cleaner can help to reduce the deposition of sand in the intestines, normal peristalsis and better digestive processes and nutrient absorption. The product contains 11,5% crude protein, 8,5% fiber, 5% fat and provides vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, D3, E and B, biotin, zinc, manganese, copper and selenium.
The recommended treatment lasts 30 days. For the first 7 days, 70 g should be administered daily and then 50 g should be administered daily until treatment is complete. The measured portion must be soaked before serving. The preparation is free from doping according to the FEI guidelines and can also be used during competitions.
