Chaff from meadow thyme grass – dried with hot air
Included in DERBY® Timothee-Gras Pur high quality grass thyme meadow with reduced sugar and protein is a very good feed for horses with metabolic diseases such as Cushing’s syndrome, ochwat, EMS and PSSM. Enrichment chaff sunflower oil prevents dusting, thus making the ideal feed for allergic horses. As a result of the warm air drying process chaff DERBY® Timothee-Gras Pur remains rich in vitamins, minerals and trace elements. DERBY® Timothee-Gras has a blade length of 4-6 cm and is an excellent supplement to the horse's daily diet or in the appropriate quantity can be used as a substitute for volumetric feed.
The thymatic meadow is the best grass for horses. The main asset of the meadow thyme is its tastyness. The ratio of the number of leaves to stems in the plant differs from other popular meadow grasses. In this case, compared to other grasses, the stem content is higher, thus it has a much stronger structure, which forces horses to chew more intensely and longer. The advantage of thyme is a lower percentage of sugar compared to other meadow grasses, and the calcium-phosphine ratio is 2:1.
