The mixture created by KRAFFT is a complete feed for older horses and animals who have difficulty maintaining normal body weight and good condition. Energy comes mainly from fiber and fat, so feed provides valuable nutrients without overburdening the digestive tract. It also contains lightly digestible protein rich in essential amino acids, supporting regeneration and maintenance of proper muscularity.
The formula was enriched with vitamins and minerals tailored to the needs of older horses. Inactivated yeasts support beneficial intestinal microbiota and normal digestion, which is particularly important in seniors, in whom the capacity to absorb nutrients can be reduced. A small granulate with a diameter of 5 mm facilitates the collection and chewing of feed, therefore the product will also work well in horses with dental problems.
KRAFFT Senior 20kg feed contains no oat grains, so it can also be suitable for horses sensitive to this ingredient. It is a good choice for people looking for feed for a senior horse, feed for improving the condition and weight of the body, a product supporting digestion and feeding to older horses with dental problems.
The recommended posology for an adult horse is about 0,2–0,4 kg of a feed-based feed on 100 kg of body weight per day. The horse should receive at least 1,5 kg dry volumetric feed on 100 kg body weight at the same time. A full daily portion of solid feed is best divided into several smaller meals. Additional supplements of the diet in minerals may be necessary at lower doses.
