Anise from Equiherbs is a natural herb for horses in the form of whole seeds, especially appreciated as support for the respiratory and digestive system. Thanks to its high content of aromatic essential oils, it exhibits antimicrobial, antifungal and relaxing properties, so it can be good for horses with sensitive airways and tendency to cough.
Anise for horses also supports digestive processes and can improve the absorption of nutrients from feed. Its effect favours better appetite and greater comfort of the digestive tract, especially with flatulence, indigestion or a periodic decline in interest in food.
Plant seeds may also be a valuable addition in lactating mares, as the producer indicates their beneficial effect on milk production. The natural aroma of herbs further improves the taste of feed, so that it can facilitate the administration of less readily harvested food additives.
The product contains 100% anise (Pimpinella anisum) in the form of whole grain, without any additional ingredients. The recommended daily serving for a horse weighing 500–600 kg is 20–40 g. The anise should be mixed with the feed. Nie is used in foal mares.
