Balance Pads training pads – Waldhausen
The Waldhausen Balance Pads support deep muscle training and improved horse movement coordination. Exercises on soft, flexible substrate teach the horse to maintain balance and muscle tension in a controlled way.
Regular work using balance pads can positively affect body awareness (proprioception). They are particularly beneficial for young horses who are only learning proper coordination under the rider. However, the development of balance, stabilization and deep muscle benefits each horse – regardless of age and level of progress.
Due to the intensity of the exercise, it is recommended to step-by-step training and exercise up to 1–2 times a week. In the case of horses after injury or with traffic problems, use of washers should be consulted with a veterinarian or chiropractician.
