Beet Pulp Summer is an unmelasted beet pulp beet for horses, enriched with vitamins, minerals and electrolytes. The product provides a large amount of easily fermented fibre, and thanks to the low glycemic index it can be a good choice for horses requiring a reduction in sugar and starch in their daily diet. It will work especially in young animals, nervous, sports, lean, during recovery, and with a sensitive digestive tract.
The formula is based on beet pulp beetted, biofermented carrots, alfalfa, beer yeast, flaxseed, sunflower seeds, oat bran, apple marc and cold pressed oils. The raw fibre content is 18%, 11% protein, and 5% fat. Low starch levels – 4,3% – and sugar – 3,5% – make the Beet Pulp Summer a valuable supplement to the diet of horses sensitive to more easily digestible carbohydrates.
The product was enriched with sodium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and micronutrients such as zinc, manganese, copper, selenium and iron. It also provides vitamins A, D3, E, C and B vitamins, biotin, folic acid and choline. Thanks to this, it can help supplement the diet of recreational and sports horses not only in energy and fiber, but also in mineral-vitamin components.
Beet pulp beet ST.HIPPOLYT Mineral Summer unmelasted 20kg is also recommended for allergic horses, with respiratory problems and animals with limited access to good quality hay or pasture. Soaked form increases the share of water in a meal and can be especially practical during summer and during greater effort.
The recommended daily dose is approximately 100 g product for each 100 kg horse's body weight. According to the manufacturer, this quantity covers the mineral-vitamin demand of recreational horses. Beet pulp should always be administered only after careful soaking and overcrowding. Due to the high concentration of vitamins and minerals, the product should not account for more than 20% of the total daily dietary dose, including hay.
