Calcium Sorbinum brand St.Hippolyt is a mineral preparation for horses designed to supplement the calcium diet and the components supporting proper bone mineralization. It will be particularly effective in foals and young horses during intensive development, breeding mares, as well as in animals whose daily food dose does not fully cover the demand for calcium.
Calcium plays an important role in the construction and maintenance of strong bones, normal muscle work and nervous conduction. The adequate supply of this element is of particular importance during the period of growth, pregnancy and lactation, as well as in intensively used horses. Calcium ST.HIPPOLYT Calcium Sorbinum 10kg can be used as part of a properly balanced diet, especially when the analysis of volumetric feed indicates a calcium deficiency or an adverse calcium-to-phosphor ratio.
The preparation facilitates precise replenishment of the mineral dose without the need to increase the amount of solid feed. It may be given to young horses in order to support the proper development of the bone system and foal and feeding mares, whose mineral demand is increased.
Dosage should be adjusted according to age, weight, use of the horse and the composition of the entire food dose. With longer use, it is worth taking into account the calcium and phosphorus content in sowing, in solid feed and other supplements to maintain their appropriate proportions.
Composition: marine and mineral calcium carbonate, a mixture of poppy (lanseed, sunflower), a mixture of cold-pressed olei (linseed, sunflower, maize sprouts), maize sprouts, isomaltulose, magnesium oxide, salt, garlic, fruit fibre (apple/vigron), beer yeast.
