This chaff is fully balanced and can replace the feed.
Nuba Hoof&Shine Chaff was created to promote growth and healthy skin, fur and hooves. It's right. for horses with a pedigree tendency because of the low sugar and starch levels. Also recommended for horses with broken hooves, weak hooves, too slow growth, matt hair, skin problems.
Product supplies slow-released energy derived from digestible fibre and fats, therefore it is also suitable for horses with excitable temperament.
The Chaff administered in the recommended quantities may be a sufficient meal for non-working horses and in light work. No additional supplementation is necessary.
Do you know that the health of hooves and skin products depends mainly on the condition of the colon. Describing this dependence briefly - it is there, thanks to the beneficial bacteria, that the fiber is fermented, so that the horse produces vitamins (for example, vitamin H, or biotin), enzymes, synthesizes amino acids, there it absorbs a bunch of nutrients and produces heat (thanks to which the horse does not freeze). If the intestinal microflora is impaired, it may not cause serious symptoms, namely deterioration in the condition of hair or hooves.
Our chaff has two tasks:
1. Support the bacterial flora of the colon to function optimally. Worthy, well digestible fibers, as well as yeasts supporting its digestion and probiotics, are helpful here.
2. Provide nutrients whose bacterial flora is unable to synthesize when its action is impaired.
Additives included in chaff Nuba Hoof&Shine Chaff are:
- biotin - contained in our chaff in quantity o scientifically proven efficacy - has a positive effect on the hooves. This vitamin shows the ability to accumulate bioavailable sulphur, and by providing it directly to cells, supports the condition of the skin and its preparations. In addition, it participates in the metabolism of proteins and fats,
- methionine - exogenous amino acid which is the primary building block of hooves and hair. It is. essential for protein synthesis, has a cleansing effect of the body supporting the work of the liver, regulates the process of keratinization of the epidermis, hair and nails,
- msm - organic sulfur compound, delivering this precious element to the horse's body. Sulphur evens the water pressure inside our cells, which Supports joint health, immune system, digestive system and bloodstream. It has a positive effect on the condition of hair, skin and hooves,
- zinc, copper, magnesium, selenium - elements necessary for proper functioning of the body, often occurring in the daily diet of horses in too little. Their deficiency may result in poor health of the whole body, including hooves and skin,
- vitamins ADE - are essential for the proper functioning of the body, have antioxidant and resistance-enhancing effects,
- marine algae - supply valuable nutrients in a well-absorbed form, bind toxic substances, penetrate fat cells and stimulate metabolism. They also support skin metabolism,
- yeast - are prebiotics, that is, nourishment for the beneficial bacteria of the digestive system. The positive effect on intestinal microflora guarantees greater digestibility of nutrients supplied in feedingstuffs and efficient synthesis of vitamin K and B,
- probiotics - are the support of intestinal microflora, whose good condition has a decisive impact on the horse's health.
Chaff is fully balanced and can be used instead of solid feed. It can also be used as an additive to the current feed.
A short chopped form prolongs the time of eating, promotes more careful chewing, resulting in better digestion.

Chaff can be used in a reduced quantity, remembering that the supply of essential nutrients for the hooves is also decreasing.
Chaff can be used in daily diet in several ways:
- as a basic meal,
- to add energy, protein, fibre to feed the horse to feed with solid feed or as a separate meal
- in order to slow down the intake of feed and improve the rumination of the feed, chaff should be mixed with the dose of the feed.
