KRAFFT electrolytes is a concentrated preparation designed to replenish minerals lost with or during diarrhea. It will work especially in sports horses and intensively working, after demanding training, competitions, transport and during heat. Regular replenishment of electrolytes helps maintain a proper water-electrolyte balance, supports performance and promotes more efficient regeneration after effort.
The formula provides the most important electrolytes for horses, including sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. These ingredients are involved in the proper functioning of muscles and nervous system and help maintain proper hydration of the body. It may be particularly useful if water alone is not sufficient to make up for the loss of intense sweating.
KRAFFT Electrolytes Pro 1,8kg electrolytes contain potassium chloride, sodium chloride, calcium carbonate, dextrose, wheat and magnesium oxide. The composition also includes vitamin B1, vitamin C, vitamin E and iron. The potassium content is 14,5%, sodium 10%, calcium 5%, and magnesium 2,7%, so the product provides a comprehensive complement of minerals relevant to active and vulnerable horses.
The recommended daily dose is 40 g, mixed with feed. When using electrolytes, the horse must have constant access to fresh water, as adequate hydration is necessary to safely replenish the minerals. Dosage should be adjusted to the intensity of work, ambient temperature and level of sweating of the horse.
