Gastro Light is an electrolytic preparation for ulcerative, metabolic and overweight horses. The formula was developed with a view to effectively replenishing the electrolytes lost along with later training, competitions, heat and transport, as well as in horses excessively sweaty, dehydrated or quickly tired. Thanks to the use of xylitol with a low glycemic index, the preparation does not provide additional sugar and can be used in horses requiring careful feeding at EGUS or EMS.
The product provides sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and chromium, which help maintain a proper electrolyte balance, hydration, and efficient muscle work. The formula is supplemented by betaine and beta-alanine, supporting hydration, endurance and regeneration after effort, as well as grape seed extract and fiber. The proantocyanidin and quercetin contained in it have antioxidant effects, while the fiber promotes the proper functioning of the intestinal microbiobiobiota. Electrolytes MEBIO Isolitol Gastro Light 1kg help supplement mineral losses, support hydration, regeneration and proper muscle work without added sugar. They will work especially in sports horses, intensively working, heavily sweating and demanding diets with a low glycemic index. The preparation is powder-shaped and free of doping according to FEI guidelines.
Contains xylitol, erythritol, grape seed fiber, sodium chloride, potassium citrate, magnesium sulphate, calcium citrate, iron, organic chromium, beta-alanine, and standardized grape seed extract. Alginate microsphere technology has been used to protect the gastric mucosa, therefore the product fits well into the diet of horses with sensitive gastrointestinal tract.
The recommended daily serving is 5 g for each 100 kg horse weight. For an animal weighing 500 kg, this corresponds to 25 g per day. In justified cases, the dose may be increased after consulting a nutritionist or a veterinarian. The preparation should be administered after careful mixing with feed or water. One scoop contains approximately 15 g of the product.
