DERBY Loose Pur is a high quality chaff with alfalfa for horses, prepared with alfalfa dried with warm air. The product provides a large amount of fiber and natural protein, so it can be a valuable supplement to the daily diet of sports, breeding and recreational horses.
Alfalfa is a natural source of calcium, beta-carotene and amino acids, including lysine and methionine. The low starch content and the lack of molasses make DERBY Luzerne Pur good for the feeding of horses, where it is important to control the contribution of cereals and sugars to the food dose.
The length of the fiber to approximately 5 cm promotes more thorough chewing and slower feeding. The addition of sunflower oil reduces dusting, improving comfort during administration.
DERBY Luzerne Pur can be used as a hay additive, a feed component or a partial substitute for volumetric feed.
For horse with a weight of 200 kg: about 0,8–1,3 kg per day as a hay supplement or 1,7–2,7 kg as a partial hay replacement.
For horse with a weight of 400 kg: about 1,7–2,3 kg per day as a hay supplement or 3,4–5,5 kg as a partial hay replacement.
For horse with a weight of 600 kg: about 2,5–3,0 kg per day as a hay supplement or 4,0–5,5 kg as a partial hay replacement.
