Glistnik is a herb whose effect is due to the presence of many alkaloids affecting various processes in the body. Its diastolic properties include smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts, ureters and gynaecological tracts are particularly appreciated. Thanks to this, the glistnik can be an element of herbal supplementation of horses requiring support for the proper functioning of the digestive system and bile ducts.
Swallowing herb is also traditionally used as natural support for warts and sarcoids. The producer identifies it as one of the herbs particularly valued in this area, and can therefore be an interesting addition to feeding horses with a tendency to this type of change.
Due to the strong action of the herb, it should be used with caution and in accordance with the recommended dosage. The product is not intended for foal mares, horses with stomach ulcers or animals with acute gastrointestinal insects.
The product contains 100% swallow glass herb (Celidonium Mays) in cut form chaff, without any additional ingredients. The recommended daily serving for a horse weighing 500–600 kg is 10–25 g. The herb should be mixed with the feed.
