The inner lining of riding helmets KEP Italia corresponds to the individual size of the rider's head. There is 12 sizes of cartridges of which the first eight (from 51 ed 58 ) matches riding helmets in size M (average) and the other four (from 59 ed 62 ) match to riding helmets in size L (large). Internal padding is a very important part of the riding helmet, as the correct fit on the rider's head depends on its proper thickness. The internal KEP Italia lining is one-piece and can be easily removed and re-placed inside riding helmet. The inserts can be washed manually in cold water or in a washing machine at 30°C temperature. The lining is made of Coolmax®, a fabric using innovative fiber that keeps low temperature and facilitates skin hydration while quickly draining moisture (very quickly dries). The fact that the lining corresponds to the size of the rider's head means that riders who alternately wear loose or tied hair can use two interchangeable linings of different sizes. This also applies to children who change their head size during growth. Parents can buy a larger size and replace the lining, which has become too tight, without having to look for a new riding helmet. Given that the correct match of riding helmet is of fundamental importance for the proper protection of the rider's head, KEP Italia has developed a series of linings specially designed for oval, circular or narrow heads. KEP Italia linings are available in black (added to all riding helmets KEP Italia), beige (available on order for all riding helmets).
