It is a source of unsaturated fatty acids, vitamins K, E, A and B, as well as phytosterols, phospholipids, chlorophyll and minerals. It can therefore be a valuable supplement to the daily diet of horses requiring support of general condition, skin, hair and natural defense mechanisms of the body.
Hemp oil for horses is especially recommended to overactive animals and exposed to frequent stress situations. Its ingredients can promote quietness and better well-being, while at the same time supporting the proper functioning of the movement system and regeneration processes. The beneficial ratio of omega-3 fatty acids to omega-6 also supports natural anti-inflammatory processes of the body.
Regular use can also have a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin and hair, so oil will work well in horses with a tendency to dermatological problems. The manufacturer shall also indicate its use with a weakened natural immunity of the body and as part of the diet of horses requiring additional support during periods of increased load.
This product contains 100% crude cold pressed hemp oil. The recommended daily serving is 20–30 ml for ponies and small horses and 40–60 ml for horses weighing 500–600 kg. It is best to introduce it to the diet gradually and mix it with a daily portion of feed.
EQUIHERBS 1l hemp oil contains CBD (cannabidiol), which is on the list of substances banned by FEI, therefore the product should not be used in horses competing in sports.
