GastricAid Cat is a specialized preparation for cats supporting the proper functioning of the stomach and intestines and regeneration of the gastrointestinal mucosa. It can be used especially in animals with sensitive stomach, reflux, hyperacidosis, indigestion and flatulence, as well as as as an element of support for inflammation of the stomach mucosa. The manufacturer also indicates it for cats after antibiotic therapy and older animals requiring additional gastrointestinal support.
The formula includes among others. L-glutamine, high molecular weight hyaluronic acid, beta-glucans, alginate, bioactive collagen peptides, natural amino acids, nucleotides and nucleosides, mastic gum, licorice and organic forms of zinc, copper and selenium. Complementary composition are postbiotics derived from fermentation of strains of Enterococcus faecium, Lactobacillus delbrueckii, Lactobacillus fermentum and Lactobacillus acidophilus. This combination of ingredients promotes regeneration of the gastrointestinal mucosa, supports intestinal microbiota and helps maintain digestive comfort.
Alginate forms a protective layer on the surface of the stomach mucosa, helping to limit its contact with acidic gastric content. L-glutamine and hyaluronic acid support regenerative processes, while beta-glucans, amino acids, peptides and nucleotides supplement a formula aimed at protecting the digestive tract and proper functioning of the intestinal barrier. GastricAid Cat can thus be a valuable supplement to the cat’s diet with gastrointestinal problems. HIPPOVETPharmacy GastricAid Cat 250ml is a preparation for the stomach for a cat that supports mucosal protection, gastrointestinal regeneration, intestinal microflora and digestion comfort. It will be particularly effective in animals with reflux, hyperacidosis, sensitive stomach and other digestive problems.
The recommended serving is a 1 pump for each meal, regardless of the cat's body weight. One pump corresponds to 1,5 ml of the preparation. Gel can be injected directly into the mouth, e.g. using a syringe, or mixed with food. Once opened, the product is best stored at +2°C to +8°C in a dry and shaded place and used within 3 months.
