BoneFlex is a fluid supplement for horses supporting bone mineralization, proper joint condition and regeneration of structures of the movement system. The formula was developed for both sports and intensively working animals and during recovery after injuries, fractures or orthopaedic procedures. It can also be used in horses growing, older, foaled and lactating mares and animals staying in limited traffic for a long time.
The composition includes stabilized silicon, calcium hydroxyapatite, glucosamine, chondroitin, collagen type II , lysine and vitamins D3 and K2-MK7. Hydroxyapatite provides calcium and phosphorus in a form similar to the natural mineral structure of the bone, while vitamins D3 and K2 support the correct use of calcium. Collagen type II, glucosamine and chondroitin support the condition of joint cartilage and connective tissue, and silicon participates in the processes associated with collagen formation and skeletal mineralization. The formula is supplemented by magnesium, zinc and copper in chelate forms and turmeric and piperine.
BoneFlex NANO can be particularly useful in horses exposed to heavy loads of the movement apparatus, after injuries and during intensive training periods. Regular supplementation supports maintaining adequate bone mineral density, joint structure flexibility and natural tissue regeneration processes. A low-sugar formula, containing below 3% sugar and starch, can also be used in animals with sensitive digestive system and metabolic problems.
The product has the form of nanoemulsion, making it easier to distribute the active ingredients evenly. It can be injected directly into the mouth with a syringe or after mixing with a small amount of solid feed. BoneFlex NANO complies with FEI, PZJ and ADMR anti-doping regulations and does not require a withdrawal period according to the manufacturer.
In the first month after injury, the manufacturer recommends 15 ml product for each 100 kg horse weight per day. In subsequent 1–3 months of recovery, the dose is 10 ml on 100 kg body weight, while preventively, it is recommended to 5 ml on 100 kg body weight for two months, twice a year. The minimum suggested supplementation time is 6 weeks. Before use, the product should be shaken thoroughly.
