VitalDrop are regenerative eye drops intended for small and large animals, including horses, dogs and cats. The preparation was designed to help repair corneas, reduce scarring and regenerate damaged eye structures. It can be used for corneal damage, neurogenic keratopathy, autoimmune corneal diseases and pathological neovascularisation.
The formula contains spingolipids isolated from exogenous membrane microfractures ExMV’s. These microfractures participate in intercellular communication and provide growth factors and anti-inflammatory cytokines, helping to modulate the repair processes and facilitate the regeneration of the eye tissue. The preparation can also be used intraoperatively to intensify healing processes, including in combination with collagen dressing.
HIPPOVET VitalDrop 5ml eye drops contain spingolipides isolated from extracellular membrane microfractures, polyvinyl alcohol, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate, sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride and ultraclean water. The drops are designed to support cornea regeneration and reduce pathological formation of new blood vessels within it.
Recommended use is 1 drop on the cornea surface 1–2 times a day. In case of concomitant use of other eye drops VitalDrop should be administered as the last preparation, keeping at least 15 minutes apart. Short-term irritation or redness may occur in some animals immediately after instillation. If symptoms do not resolve within 72 hours or increase, discontinue treatment and contact your veterinarian.
