Hoof Ointment is a traditional hoof ointment for horses, designed to support healthy growth of the hoove horn and improve the overall condition of the hooves. The preparation will be especially good for fragile, cracking, matt and poor-quality hooves. Regular use helps keep the horn in good shape and promotes its restoration.
The formula should be massaged primarily into the lace of the hooves, as mechanical rubbing of the preparation with a hand or toothbrush helps stimulate cells responsible for the production of keratin. This allows the hoove paste to accelerate their growth and improve the structure of the horn. The product may also be used on areas after abrasions, where the manufacturer indicates its usefulness in supporting hair regrowth.
Cornucrescine hoove paste will work both in regular care for healthy hooves and in their weaker condition. With standard care, the manufacturer recommends using once a week, while in case of need to accelerate the growth of the hooves and improve the quality of the horn, the preparation can be applied daily. Effects of use may be seen after approximately 4–6 weeks.
The preparation should be applied to clean hooves, thoroughly rubbing it into the lace area and to visible cracks. Due to the accelerated increase in the horn during use of the hooves may require more frequent burrowing or correction. The product is available in 250 and 500ml variants.
Composition: essential oils, lanolin.
