Lavender flowers for horses
Lavender is a herb particularly beneficial to nervous horses and vulnerable to stress. The essential oils contained in it help reduce nervousness and tensions and relieve digestive problems, especially those with a nervous background. Lavender effectively supports colic horses – in such cases it is worth using it in combination with camomile and Italian fennel*. It shows wind-powered, diastolic and slightly anesthetic effects. It is worth including it in the diet of older horses, struggling with joint and muscle pains, as well as sports horses after a lot of physical effort.
