The leaf and flower of the lime is a natural nutritional supplement for horses, particularly valued for mitigating, silencing and supporting respiratory tracts. It can be used in nervous, stress-sensitive animals and with a tendency for throat and upper respiratory tract irritations. Thanks to the content of plant herb slimes, it helps to cover mucous membranes and can favor greater comfort of breathing.
Lipa for horses can also support natural processes related to the body's resistance. Contained in flowers and leaves, flavonoids, essential oils and other plant compounds have antioxidant and mitigating properties, therefore the herb will work particularly well in autumn-winter periods, with changes in weather and increased weight of the body.
The natural calming effect makes the lime a valuable addition for more reactive horses, stressed by transport, changing the environment or intensive training. At the same time, it can have a beneficial effect on the comfort of the digestive tract, especially in animals whose stress affects digestion and appetite.
The product contains a flower and lime leaf, without any additional ingredients. The recommended daily serving for a horse weighing 500–600 kg is 20–40 g. The herb should be mixed with solid feed or administered after prior brewing and cooling.
