Magnesium+ is a liquid supplement for horses, designed to support the proper functioning of the nervous and muscle system. It contains an organic form of high bioavailability magnesium and active B vitamins. The product will work particularly well in horses that are nervous, reactive, sensitive to stimulation, as well as in animals that show tension, stiffness or tremor.
This element participates in many enzymatic processes and plays an important role in muscle work, nervous conduction and bone mineralization. The formula is supplemented by vitamin B6 in the active form of P-5-P, vitamin B9 in the form of methylfolian and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. These ingredients support metabolism, proper functioning of the nervous system, haematopoietic processes and the overall condition of the body.
The MEBIO MAGNEZ+ 1l supplement also contains inactivated Lactobacillus rhamnosus and Lactobacillus fermentum bacteria, which are a source of postbiotics supporting intestinal microbes and regenerative processes. The addition of linseed oil, kamchat berries and apple vinegar complements the formula and supports digestive functions and product taste. The liquid form facilitates the administration and can be a good solution for horses reluctant to draw powder supplements.
Supplement can be used in horses with magnesium deficiency, excessively excitable, muscle tension problems and in animals requiring additional support during pharmacological treatment, recovery or microbiote disorders. The product is free from doping according to FEI guidelines.
The recommended daily serving for a horse weighing approximately 500 kg is 50 ml administered with feed. The manufacturer recommends using for a minimum of 4–6 weeks, and the supplement can also be given in the long term. Before starting supplementation, it is worth a blood test or an elemental hair analysis and on this basis adjust the dose to the individual needs of the horse. Shake the bottle before use.
