Daily Hoof Barrier is a specialized protective preparation designed primarily for soft, fragile and overly absorbing moisture. The advanced formula creates a ‘one-way barrier’ on the surface, which reduces excessive absorption of water and urine, while allowing the hoof to breathe naturally and give off excess moisture. Thanks to this product helps maintain a better horn condition and can support stable maintenance of the horseshoes.
Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Barrier will be particularly good during rainy weather, during grazing on wet paddocks, and with frequent contact with mud and moist ground. Regular use helps to reduce the softening, crushing and weakening of hooves, so the preparation fits well into the daily protection of hooves exposed to difficult environmental conditions.
The product should be applied daily to a clean, dry hoof, free of oils and fatty preparations. With an integrated brush, it should be spread to the hoove wall below the lace; if necessary, it can also be used on the sole and hoof frog. It is best to use the product before contacting a wet or muddy substrate. The formula dries in a few minutes, leaving a transparent, rough and non-sticking finish.
In case of damaged hooves, the manufacturer recommends using Daily Hoof Barrier together with Original Hoof Ointment to protect the horn from excessive moisture and to support its proper growth and restoration. This product is available in 500 ml.
