A probiotic with a composition designed specifically for horses. Contains 4 strains of bacteria naturally inhabiting horse microbes. It provides useful bacteria effectively restoring the balance of the microbiome of the gastrointestinal tract. The digestive system contains naturally occurring beneficial microorganisms, commonly referred to as bacteria. They are found in all animal species, including humans, and are essential in the digestion process.
They have their partial contribution to digestion of food entering the digestive tract, subjecting the individual components of the diet to decomposition. They release nutrients, allow synthesis of energy substrates, amino acids and some vitamins.
In horses, the highest bacterial activity occurs in the thick intestine. It is thanks to them that fiber is digested as the most important ingredient of the diet. Nutrients are then absorbed through the intestinal walls into the bloodstream, where they become available to cells in the body.
The health of the whole body depends to a large extent on maintaining the balance of the microflora in the thick intestine. Its disorders can lead to numerous health problems, such as reduced immunity, colic, diarrhea, poor feed absorption.
The intestinal microflora is variable and it is affected by many factors. The intestines contain ‘useful’ and pathogenic bacteria. Their proportions are constantly changing, competing continuously for space to live in the intestinal space.
Factors such as stress, disease, too rapid changes in food, as well as antibiotic therapy have the greatest impact on microboms, reducing the amount of beneficial bacteria. This creates a favourable environment for the reproduction of harmful species.
Probiotic supplementation with a composition specific to horses containing beneficial bacteria naturally present in their gastrointestinal tract restores bacterial balance in the intestines and thus inhibits the reproduction of pathogens.
Probiotic NuVena dic 4 strains of naturally inhabiting equine microbes: Lactobacillus acidophilus CECT 4529 , Enterococcus faecium NCIMB 11181 Pediococcus acidactici ATCC 8042 Lactobacillus casei ATCC 7469.
The product is microbiologically stable and has a guaranteed number of individual strains of bacteria through the use of lyophilisation.
When to use:
- of horses suffering from colic, flatulence, bowel problems
- in horses suffering from ulcers of the stomach, duodenum, intestines, during and after treatment
- during antibiotic therapy and use of medicines
-with changes in feed (also hay lot) and stable changes
-in situations of severe stress, during professions, transport
-in a period of immunodeficiency and disease

Composition:
calcium magnesium carrier, sucrose, probiotic composite containing lyophilised live bacterial cultures, wheat bran, dicalcium phosphate.

Application:
Add to feed. It may be moistened immediately prior to administration.
Store in a dry and cool place. After use, close tightly. Protect from moisture!
Dosage:

-5-10g daily in prophylactic supplementation, the higher dose should be divided into two meals
-10-20g daily in supplementation associated with colic symptoms, allergic symptoms, disease, extensive wounds, long-term pain, invasive veterinary procedures. Divide the dose into a minimum of two meals.

Duration of administration:
