The product provides easily digestible protein and energy with a low glycemic index, so it will also work well in the limbs during recovery, with dental problems and difficulties with the correct use of nutrients.
The high fat content makes rice bran a source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, and the slow release of energy that helps support the condition without excessive horse stimulation. The addition of lysine and methionine provides essential amino acids important for the maintenance and reconstruction of muscle mass, while MSM and astaxanthin support regeneration and protection of the body against oxidative stress.
MEBIO Rice Senior 15kg rice bran contains neither cereals nor molasses, and the low starch and sugar content makes it a valuable element of horse nutrition with sensitive digestive system, metabolic problems and stomach ulcer disease. The composition includes rice bran, soy protein without GMOs, flax, hemp and rape, dried carrot, beet, pumpkin, celery and parsley, as well as fenugreek, mayan, zinc yeast, probiotic complex and vitamin-mineral blend.
Rice bran for senior horses Mebio Rice Senior can be particularly useful in animals with poorly developed muscles or atrophy, increased demand for protein and antioxidants, and problems with food absorption. The form of small pellets facilitates the collection of feed and allows it to be administered dry and after previous soaking.
The recommended daily serving is 200–300 g for each 100 kg horse's body weight. For an animal weighing 500 kg, this corresponds to approximately 1–1,5 kg of the product per day. The dose should be adjusted to the age, condition, level of activity and other ingredients of the diet.
