Brandon+ Gastro Balsam is a liquid feed additive for horses with a sensitive stomach and animals requiring special protection of the gastrointestinal mucosa. The preparation may be used in horses with ulcers, during and after treatment, as well as preventively in animals exposed to stress, intensive training, transport or other factors that increase the risk of stomach problems.
The formula is based on a carefully selected mixture of vegetable oils, including flax, steppes, corn, cherry, buckthorn and Moldavian bee. It also contains hyaluronic acid, chondroitin sulphate, glycosaminoglycans, and plant extracts from buckthorn, Asian anthrax, camomile, licorice and Asian basil. This combination promotes the protection and regeneration of the gastrointestinal mucosa and supports the proper functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
Brandon+ Gastro Balsam does not contain sugar or starch. The high fat content is an additional source of energy, and the presence of hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, chondroitin and collagen complements the complex formula of the preparation. The product can also be used in horses with food allergies and animals requiring a diet particularly mild to the stomach.
The recommended daily dose is from 15 ml for each 100 kg horse weight. The manufacturer recommends combining Gastro Balsam with MEBIO Gastro Mash. In the case of foal mares and lactating mares, the use of the preparation should be discussed in advance with the veterinarian or the horse nutrition specialist.
