The composition includes, among others, dried chaff from grass, yeast products rich in nucleotides, oil seeds, including flaxseed and sunflower, cold-pressed vegetable oils, turmeric, vinegar and chicory inulin. The formula provides 30 000 mg zinc, and the presence of methionine and cystine further supports the construction of keratin, which is an important component of fur and hoof horn.
ST.HIPPOLYT Hesta Plus Zinc 1kg supplement will work as a supplement for a horse with zinc deficiency, skin problems or weakened hooves. The recommended daily dose is 3,5 g on 100 kg body weight, with one scoop containing approximately 12 g. Before starting supplementation, the manufacturer recommends that the level of zinc be determined on the basis of a blood or hair test and that the dosage be adjusted to the actual needs of the animal.
