HippoLinol is a mixture of oils for horses, which is a concentrated source of unsaturated fatty acids and natural plant substances. The product has been developed as a complement to the daily feeding of horses requiring support of skin, fur and hooves, as well as animals with a sensitive respiratory system or a tendency to allergic reactions.
The formula is based on cold-pressed oils – flax, sunflower, corn and wheat sprouts – supplemented with herbal oils. This combination provides valuable fatty acids, including omega-3, and plant ingredients supporting the overall condition of the body. ST.HIPPOLYT HippoLinol 5l oil can be particularly useful in horses whose diet requires an increase in healthy fats and additional support for the quality of the hair cover and hooves.
The mixture will also work in allergic horses, both with skin and respiratory problems, and in animals requiring the support of natural defense mechanisms of the body. The high concentration of unsaturated fatty acids and secondary plant substances makes the product a valuable part of the diet of sports, recreational and more nutritionally sensitive horses.
The recommended daily serving ranges from 5 to 50 ml for each 100 kg horse weight and should be given as an additive to the solid feed. The manufacturer recommends prior to putting oil into the diet to perform blood tests to evaluate liver function and individual dosage adjustment to the needs of the horse.
