KieselGOLD is a supplement designed to support the condition of hooves, fur and movement apparatus. Sea-based silicon participates in processes related to bone mineralization and the formation of connective tissue structures, therefore the preparation can be particularly useful in young horses starting training, elderly horses, after injuries and animals with weak hooves.
The formula contains diatom earth which is a natural source of silicon, isomaltulose with prebiotic properties, cold-pressed linseed oil and turmeric. This combination promotes the maintenance of good quality hooves and hair cover, as well as helps support bones and structures responsible for mobility. The manufacturer also indicates the use of the preparation during recovery and with increased bone load.
KieselGOLD will also work during the period of hair replacement, when the body's need for ingredients to support skin and hair condition may be greater. Fine granules are readily collected by horses and facilitates daily administration of the product together with feed. It contains 500 000 mg purified diatom ground per kilogram.
The recommended daily dose is approximately 5 g product for each 100 kg horse's body weight. For a horse weighing 500 kg, this corresponds to a portion of about 25 g per day. One measuring measure fits about 15 g of the preparation. In sports horses, the manufacturer recommends keeping the 48 withdrawal hours before the competition.
