Hesta Plus Mangan is a supplement for horses providing this element with high bioavailability. It helps to supplement deficiencies and supports the normal metabolism of fatty acids, proteins and nucleic acids. Manganese also plays an important role in maintaining good bone condition, fertility and normal body weight.
The product can be particularly useful in feeding breeding horses, animals with bone mineralization disorders, problems with maintaining stable body weight and horses with confirmed manganese deficiency. Before starting supplementation, the manufacturer recommends performing a blood or hair test to evaluate the level of this element and adjust its supply accordingly.
The composition includes biofermented corn flakes, beer yeast, soy flakes, yeast and herb malt, flaxseed, sunflower seeds, linseed and sunflower oil, turmeric and apple vinegar. It contains 15 000 mg manganese, and a small granulated form facilitates the measurement and mixing of the supplement with a daily portion of feed.
The recommended daily dose is 3–5 g for each 100 kg horse weight. For a horse weighing 500 kg, this corresponds to a portion of 15–25 g per day. The granules should be administered via 5 days per week and then taken 2 days off. One scoop contains approximately 12 g of the product.
