Gastro Mash is a delicate mixture for ulcerated horses and with a sensitive digestive system, designed to support the comfort of the stomach and intestines. It can be used both during recovery and as a permanent part of the diet of horses exposed to stress, intense effort, transport or digestive disorders. The high fibre content and easily digestible ingredients help to support the correct intestinal microflora and promote better functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
The formula is based on linseed and grandmother fin, which, after contact with water, form a mucosal consistency to help cover the gastrointestinal mucosa. The composition is supplemented by droughts from apples and aronia, turmeric, ginger, nudes, camomile, licorice and buckthorn. This combination makes Gastro Mash fit well in the feeding of horses with a tendency to ulcers, a sensitive stomach or a decreased appetite.
Mash EQUIHERBS Gastro Mash 1,5kg can be administered after training, transport or during periods of increased body load. Warm, moist consistency improves the tastyness of the meal and facilitates its collection, therefore the product can also be proven in picky or weakened horses. The mixture does not contain artificial additives or preservatives.
The product is a complementary compound feed. The manufacturer recommends that 2–3 be administered weekly. For non-working horses, the recommended portion is 100 g for each 100 kg body weight, while for horses working 200–300 g for each 100 kg body weight. The appropriate amount of mash should be flooded with 1–3 l hot water, mixed thoroughly and left to cool down. The consistency can be adjusted to the horse's preference, and the ready-made meal can be administered slightly warm or cold.
Composition: linseed, grandmother fin, dried apples, dried aronia, turmeric, ginger, nude, chamomile, licorice, buckthorn.
