Ice Clay is a natural cooling clay for horses, designed primarily for leg care after intense effort. The product helps to relax overloaded muscles and tendons, supports regeneration after training and can reduce swelling. It will work particularly well after gallops, jumps, crossie, work on hard ground and other demanding workouts, when the legs of the horse are more vulnerable to overload and swelling.
The base of Cavalor Ice Clay is kaolinite – a natural clay rich in minerals and characterized by high absorption capacity. It helps to remove excess fluid from the joints and tendons, while providing a long-term cooling effect. Unlike the gel, the clay remains active as long as it is moist, so it can work for a long time.
The formula also contains magnesium sulphate, which promotes the circulation and relaxation of muscles, and essential oils, including arnica and rosemary. These ingredients supplement the action of the clay and help improve the comfort of tired legs after exercise. The preparation can be used not only as a cooling clay for tendons and muscles, but also with a tendency to swelling of the legs.
After hard work, apply a thick layer of Cavalor Ice Clay to your legs and tendons and leave to dry completely. Then you can remove the clay with a hard brush or rinse with cold water. If we care about slower operation, wet material can be applied to the clay layer and bandaged, resulting in a warm, moist compress effect. This product is for external use only.
