Cavalor's supplement is an electrolyte for horses in powder, designed to supplement minerals lost with sweat during effort, heat, occupations and transport. The product helps maintain the correct water-electrolyte balance of the body, which is important for the work of muscles, nervous system and recovery of the horse after training. The manufacturer indicates that the electrolytes for horses should be supplemented immediately after intense sweating or shortly before the effort, as the body does not store them in sufficient quantities to cover large losses.
The Cavalor Electrolyte Balance formula contains isotonic and isoelectric mineral salts. This combination is intended to promote the efficient transport of electrolytes and their easy use by the body. It provides, among other things, sodium, potassium, chloride, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus – minerals of particular importance for intense training and exposure to high stress of the horses.
Cavalor Electrolyte Balance will work as electrolytes for the horse after training, during competitions, on hot days and on long-term transport. The manufacturer recommends administering the product up to 2 hours before or immediately after the test. The daily serving for horses and forks is 45 g. Electrolytes can be mixed with approximately 1 kg light-digestible feed, bearing in mind the constant access to fresh water for the horse.
