Action Mix is a musli designed for horses regularly training and needing easily accessible energy to work. The manufacturer classifies them as 2 level feed, suitable for horsemen undergoing regular, active training. Expanded and extruded cereals contained in the recipe are easier to digest than unprocessed cereals, which promotes better use of energy from the food dose.
Cavalor Action Mix will work well as feed for sports horses who need increased energy supply, but are not yet at the level of very intense work requiring the strongest sports mixes. Barley and maize flakes provide easily accessible carbohydrates, while the addition of alfalfa, linseed, soya husks and fructosesaccharides complements the dose by fiber and ingredients conducive to proper digestion.
The manufacturer recommends serving from 400 to 650 g on 100 kg body weight per day. For a horse weighing 600 kg, this means about 2,4–3,9 kg per day. Daily portions should be divided into several smaller meals, preferably administered after volumetric feed. Good quality hay or other volumetric feed and constant access to fresh water should remain on the basis of feed.
