Long fibers stimulate the chewing and peristalsis of the intestine, and pre-, pro- and postbiotics help maintain the correct balance of the intestinal microbiobiome. Expanded cereals and extruded ingredients improve the digestibility of starch and the use of nutrients, and their more volumetric structure facilitates slower feeding and increased saliva production.
Cavalor Strucomix Sport has been further enriched with vitamins and trace elements adapted to the needs of sports horses. Vitamin E supports muscle protection against oxidative stress, Group B vitamins participate in energy transformations, and normal functioning of the nervous system and muscles, while Vitamin C supports natural immune mechanisms.
The manufacturer recommends administering 350–550 g to 100 kg body weight per day. For a horse weighing 600 kg this corresponds to 2,1–3,3 kg per day. Daily portions should be divided into several smaller meals, preferably administered after volumetric feed. A sufficient quantity of good quality volumetric feed and constant access to fresh water should remain the basis for feeding.
