Traditional Mix is a balanced musli-type fodder for recreational horses and horsemen performing light or medium work. The recipe was designed to meet basic nutritional needs, maintain proper health and ensure a stable level of energy needed for daily activity.
CAVALOR TraditionMix feed can be an element of daily feeding of horses of different breeds and utility types. A properly balanced blend provides energy, proteins, fibers, vitamins and minerals, supporting the horse's overall condition and well-being. The product will be particularly suitable for recreational horses, which remain in regular training with a low to moderate intensity. Feed provides a permanent source of energy, thus helping to maintain activity and vitality without sudden changes in energy levels.
The musli does not contain oats, so it may be an appropriate choice for horses where traditional oatmeal mixtures cause too much agitation. Soybean oil contained in the recipe is a source of slower released energy that promotes the smooth operation of the horse. In addition, it has barley and corn flakes, wheat bran, alfalfa and oilseeds, including sunflower seeds. The combination of these ingredients provides a varied structure of feed and supports its tastyness.
It consists of gastrointestinal fibres and fructose saccharides which support the proper functioning of the digestive system. The appropriate amount of fibre is of particular importance in feeding horses as it helps to maintain the correct digestive process. CAVALOR TraditionMix should be administered with plenty of good hay quality and constant access to fresh water. Feed should be introduced to the diet gradually so that the horse's body can get used to changing the diet.
For rest horses, the recommended amount of feed is from 0,5 to 0,7 kg for each 100 kg body weight. Horses performing light work for approximately 4–6 hours per week can be administered from 0,6 to 0,8 kg for each 100 kg body weight. With average work, covering approximately 5–8 hours per week, the recommended serving ranges from 0,7 to 1 kg for each 100 kg body weight. The quantity given should be divided into several smaller meals during the day. The final dose must be adjusted to the weight, age, condition, level of activity and other components of the horse's diet.
