The product of the CAVALOR brand is granulated fodder for recreational, sensitive and light-duty horses. A balanced recipe provides moderate energy, protein, fibers, vitamins and minerals, supporting the maintenance of the correct condition and daily vitality of the horse. A no-owsy formula makes feed suitable for horses that do not need high-energy nutrition or tend to over-excitement.
CAVALOR Tradition Pellet has been developed for recreational horses, which remain in light training or undergo a period of less activity. The granulated form facilitates the measurement of the appropriate portion and limits the ability of the horse to select individual components of the mixture. Feed may be used as part of a daily diet to supplement good quality hay or other volumetric feed. It provides the mildly released energy needed for regular, not intense work, while helping to maintain stable horse behavior.
The granulate does not contain oats, so it will work in feeding horses that react poorly to high-energy cereal mixtures. Moderate starch content and duly selected energy sources allow the horse to be supplied with nutrients without unduly increasing its excitation. A delicate formulation based, among other things, on alfalfa, wheat bran, spelt scales and vegetable oils makes fodder a good choice for horses sensitive, older, young or returning to regular activity after the break.
Feed contains 13% raw fibre, which is an important element of a properly balanced horse diet. The fiber supports the proper functioning of the digestive tract and helps maintain proper digestive processes. There are also fructose saccharides in the recipe, i.e. FOS. These are prebiotic ingredients supporting beneficial intestinal microflora, and thus the correct use of nutrients contained in the daily diet.
CAVALOR Tradition Pellet can be the primary feed material for horses with a slight to moderate energy demand. Granules are easy to administer, well-combined with volumetric feed and can be administered throughout the year. The product will be suitable for recreational horses, light-working, sensitive, older and remaining in limited activity. The final dose should always be adjusted according to body weight, condition, age and intensity of work.
