KRAFFT Foal is a complete feed for young horses, developed for harmonious muscle development and the construction of a strong bone system. The high content of good quality proteins and essential amino acids helps to cover the increased nutritional needs of the growing organism during the first months and years of life.
Feed contains 16% crude protein and 9 g lysine in kg. Lizyna is one of the most important amino acids affecting the development and regeneration of muscle tissue. Appropriately selected proportions of calcium and phosphorus, as well as the addition of vitamins and minerals support harmonious development of foals, yearlings and young horses during periods of intense growth.
KRAFFT Foal can be given to foals even before desplanting. Gradual habit of the animal to the content feed helps to reduce dietary changes during a stressful period of separation from the mare. The product is suitable for both suckling and weaned foals as well as for up to the age of two years horses. It can also be used in feeding lactating mares, whose demand for energy, protein, vitamins and minerals is increased.
Granules with a diameter of approximately 5 mm are adapted to the needs of young horses and limit the ability to select individual ingredients. Thanks to this, each serving provides a similar amount of nutrients. The fodder contains, among others, oat and wheat bran, alfalfa, oats, wheat, potato protein, beet pulp beetroot, rapeseed oil and beet molasses. Provides 10 MJ metabolic energy, 13% fibres, 4% fat, 14% starch and 6% sugar. Feed for KRAFFT Foal foals 20kg is a high-protein blend for foals, yearlings and young horses that supports proper development, growth, muscularity and fitness. The appropriate content of amino acids, vitamins and minerals makes the product comprehensively help supplement the diet of a young horse during an increased nutritional demand.
An indicative daily dose for a young horse whose expected body weight in adulthood is approximately 500 kg , it's from 1 ed 2 kg feed of age from 3 ed 6 months and from 1 ed 3 kg from 6 . months until 2 ..years of age. The exact portion should be adjusted to the age, weight, growth rate, use and nutritional value of the administered volumetric feed. The daily dose is best divided into several smaller meals. A young horse should have constant access to good quality hay and fresh water, and additional mineral supplements may be necessary when using a small amount of solid feed.
